Padders Dog Training
Welcome to Padders dog Training, a small and friendly dog club running in the Runcorn area, easily accessible by road or local bus serving people in Runcorn, Widnes, Warrington and surrounding areas.
The club is open to all dogs no matter what age or size who will benefit from training, as do their handlers. Classes are kept small and each dog and handler are assessed for their individual needs. One to one training and home visits are available, these are particularly helpful if your dog has specific behavioural problems.
The club is run by Jenny Thomson, A Fully Qualified instructor with the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers, with over 30 years of experience in handling dogs.
Well 2018 is behind us…where did it go? Anyway we can now look ahead to 2019!

"Started recall training with gsd Harry yesterday very good class Jenny is very informative and gave useful tips to use on daily walks looking forward to rest of classes."
"Excellent positive training environment facilitated by Jenny Thomson, making it very enjoyable whilst practical. Helped me to achieve so much with Bella including her Kennel Club Good Citizen Gold."
"Jenny is a good and patient trainer. Really enjoy the classes. The dogs have good all round training and do the kennel club awards. My dogs are boarded with Jenny and I wouldn't leave them anywhere else as it's home from home for them."
"My rescue dog, Toby, has socialising issues with other dogs. Jenny understands this problem and by the end of his stay, Toby is playing and sleeping with the other dogs in her care. I have no worries when I leave him with Jenny. It's like home from home."
"Jenny demonstrates a commitment to the welfare of the dogs in her care and to the development of both owners and dogs skills and confidence in the class and one to one sessions. One of the things I appreciate about Jenny’s classes is that she is prepared to work with dogs that present challenging behaviours, whilst ensuring that others are not disadvantaged by this."
"Having known Jenny since the late 1980s when meeting her I am consistently impressed with Jenny’s knowledge, commitment, theoretical and practical skills. Jenny is an outstanding dog trainer who has a deep understanding of the theories and can translate this into her life with dogs and can pass on this knowledge, skill and enthusiasm to her clients."
